Yanet’s talent and charisma haven’t gone unnoticed by the global entertainment industry. She has had the honor of dancing alongside the international sensation Shakira and has graced the silver screen with her role in the movie “Cuban Fury.” Her collaborations read like a who’s who of the Latin music and dance world, regularly working with stars such as Havana de Primera, Michael Fonts, and F Clan.
From the streets of Havana to global dance festivals and movie sets, Yanet’s passion for dance is palpable. As an instructor, she has inspired countless students in workshops worldwide, passing on the rich heritage of Cuban dance.

Professional Training
Commences her seven-year study at the National School of Contemporary and Folkloric Dance in Havana, Cuba.

Early Career
August 2000 to January 2002: Assumes the role of lead dancer and principal performer in 'Lady Salsa,' directed by Toby Gough.
January 2001: Wins the professional couples category at the Tropicana World Salsa Championships in London.

Championships and Titles
2002: Successfully defends her title at the Tropicana World Salsa Championships.
2004: Reclaims the championship title at the Tropicana World Salsa Championships.
2005: Returns to the 'Lady Salsa' musical as the lead dancer and principal performer.
